Hey it’s been a minute! Brief update. Just over a month ago, I started a new job. I’m working on a dairy farm about 2 hours from Cairns in a region known as the Atherton Tablelands. It’s basically rolling hills and windmills and farms surrounded by tropical rainforest. Living a very rural small town vibe, but the area is so green and full of life, an ideal spot to settle in for a few months, save some money, and plan out the next steps of my journey.

I probably won’t post on here much until I finish on the farm in mid-July. I have almost no reception, and I’m trying to appreciate one of the few times in my life I’ll be able to live offline.

Just now I am heading back to the farm after a couple of days off in Cairns (the reason I have internet to post this blog). I met up with Aiden for our final Ozzie adventure. We spent one day at the Daintree Rainforest and the other exploring the Great Barrier Reef. Both incredible and memorable experiences filled with plenty of wildlife.
